I have brought a printer and this program came on the CD with it. Do I have to pay for the new version as it is asking me to do?

Yes, you do because only the trial version is free of charge. The latest version of the application will cost you about $29.99 and you can purchase it from the official web page. On your printer CD you have the trial version which can be used only 15 days.
